Safety, Reliability and Cost are some of the main factors for Automotive electronic products. NNTS has developed its own internal process in order to achieve these factors while designing electronic products for Automotive. Multiple stages of validation and verification cycles and defect recording and resolution helps NNTS team to achieve highly reliable products.
NNTS has designed Automotive electronic products mainly for:
- Driver assistance – Instrument cluster, Rear camera/ Park assist system, Pre-collision assist system, Automatic Wiper and headlamp control
- Traveler’s comfort – Automatic in-vehicle temperature control, seat adjustment
- Infotainment Systems – Navigation systems, Audio/video players, Information access
Almost all of these products were based on LIN and/or CAN network for communication with Master ECU in the vehicle.
ISO26262 functional safety standard for Automotive was followed for design and verification during product development. As Automotive products require extensive validation and verification process at every stage of product development, NNTS follows V-diagram for development life cycle of products – refer our Verification and Validation services for details.
NNTS follows below standards in general for development and product V&V:
- ISO26262 – Functional safety (ASIL)
- CISPR25 – EMC testing
- IEC61967-4 – CE testing
- IEC62132-4 – RF testing
- ISO11452-4 – Bulk current injection testing for communication network
NNTS has also performed HALT and HASS testing for achieving product reliability figures like MTBF and MTTF.
